girl on the go: your simple, trendy, and go-to blog for travel recs
the GoGo was made for girls on the go - whether that be going to restaurants, bars, concerts, sporting events, traveling, and more. when i was creating the GoGo, travel was at the forefront of this list, especially as I find myself constantly living out of my suitcase. i've had so many amazing travel experiences and now that i have the GoGo with me, these excursions have only gotten better.
i've always had a passion for travel - from local california destinations to full-swing trips abroad. so much so, that back in college i debated selling 3-day itineraries to other students who were studying abroad or looking for fun local getaways. when planning my trips, i'd look at the trendiest restaurants and bars, most historic sites, beautiful places, national foods, and more. full days were spent planning the transportation, hotels/airbnbs, and creating hollistic plans for an idyllic mix of touristy and local-ish activities in each place.
traveling has been an amazing hobby, however its also opened my eyes to the discrepancy of health and sanitary standards. in california for example, seemingly every establishment has paper toilet seat covers available, and maybe even feminine hygiene products depending on where you go. however in new york, you can almost guarantee neither will be found at even the nicest of establishments. the same goes for europe.
girl on the go is a culmination of my efforts to make GoGo a thing, and write travel recommendations out of pure joy. hopefully in the mix, people, specifically women, feel empowered to travel without worry or at least have a starting point when it comes to making formulating plans.
cheers to girls on the go!
